Microblading adds semi-permanent hair strokes to ones brows, in order to create a fuller, natural brow look.
The Shading/Combo Brows technique is a semi-permanent technique in which shading is used
in order to create more of a makeup filled in brow look.
Ranging from natural to more of a defined look. Shading can also be used in conjunction with Microblading.
We customize the eyebrows to each individual's face shape and proportions.

Q & A
what you need to know
Q. What is Microblading?
A. Microblading is a technique in which a blade, dipped into mineral pigment, creates strokes strategically into the first layer of skin. The strokes are created to mimic the look of natural brow hairs. The strokes are added to already existing brow hairs or lack their of.
Q. What is Manual Shading and Ombre'?
A. Manual Shading is a technique in which a shading blade, dipped into mineral pigment, is either shaded in between existing Microbladed lines, or it is done throughout the brow for a "powder" filled in Brow look. The Shading can create a more defined and emphasized brow. The "Combo" Brow is the combination of Microbladed hair strokes and Shading. This technique is added to already existing brow hairs or lack their of.

Q. Is there any down time for the healing process?
A. Yes. We suggest not planning your Microblading appointment within 7 days or less of an event or vacation. Initially the brows will appear 2-3 shades darker. Also during the process the skin swells, causing the brows to look thicker than the end healed result will be. Each day the pigment will lighten, and the brows will shrink up to 30% within one week. There may also be some peeling and/or scabbing as the skin regenerates on top of the Microbladed Strokes. The brows will be fully healed in 4-6 weeks.
Q. How long does the Microblading last?
A. About 12-18 months. Length of wear time varies between each client. (Oily skin, regular exfoliation, and use of retinol products can decrease the life of the strokes.) Microblading tends last longer on drier skin and mature skin types. While Shading techniques tend to last better for all skin types.
Q. Am I a candidate for Microblading & Shading?
A. You are NOT a candidate if you are/have any of the following:
Pregnant or nursing.
Large pores, very oily skin
Using products with retinal (must remain off of it for a week).
Have any skin diseases such as psoriasis, eczema and diagnosed rashes or blisters on the site that is to be treated.
Allergies to makeup or color pigment.
Have any transmittable blood conditions like HIV or Hepatitis
Under the age of 18
Have skin healing disorders
On blood thinners
Eyelift or blepharoplasty: Must wait 3 months post procedure.
Q. Is it Microblading painful?
A. Yes and No, it can be. Pain is relative to each client. Some compare it to the feeling of a tattoo, some have said it feels like tweezing. Although, Microblading is a more semi-permanent cosmetic procedure, the skin is being cut in to with a tiny blade. Regardless, we do apply a numbing cream before and during the process in order to help alleviate possible pain.
Q. What should I expect during the healing process?
A. Be prepared to not get your brows wet for 3 days after initial treatment. An ointment will be provided to apply to the brow area twice a day AM/PM. After about a week, the area may have some scabbing. If so, only apply the skin ointment (SkinCandy), do not peel it. As the skin regenerates on top of the treated area, the brow color may fade more, and then the color will heal into its final color at the 4th week. After a month, one would come in for the 2nd appointment (included in initial price amount).
WHAT TO AVOID:
During the first 7 days avoid all facial creams (other than SkinCandy), all makeup (foundation) in the eyebrow area. Avoid workouts that involve a lot of sweating, sauna, facial massage, and steaming.
30 DAYS POST APPOINTMENT AVOID:
Sunbathing, Tanning Beds, Light Therapy, Chemical Peels, Fruit Acids, Microdermabrasion, Creams that contain regenerating factors (glycolic acid, retinol, retin A).
GOOD TO KNOW:
Always avoid laser treatments over the treated area (Fraxel Laser, IPL) because they can destroy the pigment and cause burns. Use of antibiotics and hormonal therapy can lead to a faster pigment fading. Always protect the eyebrows from the sun with SPF (not during the first 7 days).
